去年1月にリリースしたDugoのファースト・アルバム「Lingua Franca」がIndependent Music Awards (The IMA's) というアワードのDance/Electronicaアルバムのカテゴリーにノミネートされたようです。審査とファン投票を経て来月3/31にニューヨーク、マンハッタンのリンカーン・センターで受賞者発表が行われるそうです。審査員はTom Waits, Slayer, Bakithi Kumalo, Michael W. Smith, Sepultura, Amy Lee [Evanescence] among many others ということでなかなかバラエティに富んだ方々なので受賞できなかったとしてもできれば感想をを聞いてみたいところです。
