イズタニタカヒロ (作曲家、ギタリスト）
90年代後半からインストゥルメンタルロックバンドHappy Familyでギターを担当する。1998年、Happy Familyは米国Cuneiform Recordsよりアルバムをリリース。その後、作曲家、編曲家、リミキサーとして日本の音楽業界で数多くの作品に携わる様になった。またエレクトロニックミュージックのソロプロジェクトDugoの活動を開始し2006年には楽曲「Dublin」が米TVシリーズ「CSI : Miami Season 3」で使用される。その後、現在に至るまで様々なビデオゲームの音楽制作に携わっている。(メタルギアソリッドシリーズ、ベヨネッタシリーズ、エースコンバット アサルト・ホライゾンなど。）
ゲーム音楽の作曲家として活動しながらアーティストとしての活動を再開する。1998年以来となるHappy Familyの活動を立ち上げ、2014年に3rdアルバム『Minimal Gods』を再びCuneiform Recordsからリリース。2015年Happy Familyはフランスで開催されたRock In Oppositionフェスティバルから招待を受け参加し、同時にヨーロッパツアーを敢行。そして2017年にはDugoのファースト・アルバム「Lingua Franca」をBrave Wave Productionsからリリース。今作はイタリアの古楽器演奏グループやカナダのヴァイオリニストとのコラボレーションを経て完成された。
2019年にはオーストラリアのメルボルンで開催されたゲーム音楽のカンファレンス「High Score」に作曲家として招かれ基調講演を行う。
2020年4月にCOVID-19に感染し回復したが、残された人生で自分にとって最も重要な音楽活動に注力すべくDugoを再始動させた。そして同年EP「Recluse」をリリース。現在Dugoはコンスタントにリリースを続けている。
2022年にはワシントンDCで開催された東アジアのポップカルチャーイベントOTAKON 2022にて講演を行いファンイベントにも参加。

Takahiro Izutani, a guitarist for the instrumental rock band Happy Family since the late 1990s, launched his career with the band's album release under Cuneiform Records in 1998. His journey in the Japanese music industry has been multifaceted, encompassing roles as a composer, arranger, and remixer. Izutani's foray into electronic music began with his solo project Dugo, gaining notable recognition when his track "Dublin" featured in "CSI: Miami Season 3" in 2006. His expertise extended to composing for renowned video games, including the Metal Gear Solid and Bayonetta series.
Simultaneously, Izutani revived Happy Family, releasing their third album "Minimal Gods" in 2014 under Cuneiform Records, after a hiatus since 1998. The band's participation in the Rock In Opposition festival in France in 2015 marked their international presence, followed by a European tour. In 2017, Dugo's debut album "Lingua Franca" was released by Brave Wave Productions, a collaborative effort with an Italian early music ensemble and a Canadian violinist.
In 2019, Izutani's expertise was recognized at the "High Score" game music conference in Melbourne, where he delivered the keynote speech. The following year, after recovering from COVID-19, he refocused his efforts on Dugo, releasing the EP "Recluse." Dugo continues to produce new music actively.
In 2022, Izutani expanded his influence by lecturing and engaging with fans at OTAKON 2022, an East Asian pop culture event in Washington DC.
In September 2023, the Resident Evil 4 Remake - Separate Ways, in which he participated in music production, was released.
